Jeff Smith

 Jeff Smith is undoubtedly the ultimate team mate and volunteer. Jeff and his wife Kathy moved here from Farmington NY.  Jeff is an US Army veteran and retired educator.  In his 35 plus years of teaching, Jeff also coached Girls/Boys Varsity Scoccer, Basketball and Track. Even after their move to AZ in 1998 Jeff continued to teach. Jeff joined the Softball Club and became one its busiest and most dedicated members.  Jeff's contributions to the Club include President, Vice President and Board Advisor serving 5 years.  He was a League Commissioner, Rating Committee chair, Sponsor Picnic chair and Charity Event coordinator.  For years Jeff was also responsible for the ordering and inventory of equipment and uniforms. Jeff continues to serve the club as a manager and field maintenance volunteer. His service to Club and to take on any and all tasks asked of him earned him the President's Award and the honor of his induction into the Sun City Grand Hall of Fame.
