2016 Inductees
Ed was born and raised in Oklahoma. He has been married to his wife Susie for 48 years and retired 3 years ago. At his wife's insistence they moved here full time in 2011. He now says it was the best decision he ever made. He joined the softball club a little over 5 years ago. He managed many teams, starting off in the Blue League and now playing in the White League. He has been a dedicated field maintenance team member for the past 5 years mowing, dragging and doing any other field activity to keep our field in it's pristine condition. He steps up to providing dragging to any of the leagues to keep the field the best it can be. He is probably one of most modest and humble inductees, preferring to remain behind the scenes.
Norbert Francis Lewandowski (now you can see why we call him 'Ski') was born in Chicago Illinois. He a painting contractor for 40 years. Through Ski’s and Toni’s travels they came upon SCG and fell in love. They both knew this was the place to retire…moving to SCG in 2006. Ski is a 7 time team manager for SCG and manager of traveling team. Ski was a part of the softball maintenance ground crew for 7 years. He’s served on numerous committees including Relay for Life as well as Veterans Tournament and "Is Your Bat Legal?" approved bat guru. He has also served as Sub Czar for several years.
