Pinch Runners

The Pinch Runners were formed in 2011 to provide short-term assistance for any of our players or their spouses/significant others who need help. The Pinch Runners send cards, when appropriate.  They have a list of volunteers from the Softball Club who will deliver meals, offer transportation, or make home visits.

The Pinch Runners are only effective if they know of the needs of the players. In other words, it is the players, team managers and commissioners who know when one of our players is injured, sick, or grieving. When there is something wrong you are the best ones to pass the information on to the Pinch Runners so they can provide help. 

Please e-mail or call one of the Pinch Runners when you learn of any troubles your team members may be having. We don't want to overlook anyone, but the Pinch Runners can't help if they are not aware of the situation.
